When is graduation in St Andrews?
Winter graduation 2026 is on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 December, with ceremonies in the Younger Hall. Summer graduation is in June or July. The University publishes the dates.
Can I book a table for winter graduation?
Yes. Winter graduation tables are on sale now and you can book up to 6 online. For 7 or more, send us an enquiry and we'll come back to you.
Can I book for summer graduation?
Summer graduation isn't on sale yet. Send us an enquiry with your date and group size. We'll get back to you.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure all graduation bookings and it is non-refundable.
Is there a set graduation menu?
No. We're serving our usual menus over winter graduation. See the menus.
Winter graduation falls in December. Does Christmas change anything?
Festive 2026 starts on 30 November, so tables over 6 dine from the festive set menu. See Festive 2026.
Can children come?
Yes. Children aged 0 to 15 can be in the venue until 10pm. 16 and 17 year olds can stay until 10pm too.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes. Let us know when you book. If you eat the cake at Amber, there is a £5 per person charge if you do not have desserts.
